Hello world!
Well this is it, I have decided to do this. Call me crazy, call me obsessed, but don’t call me an expert. The bottom line is this, I am not a writer, I am not a sommelier, I have no training in wine etiquette. But I do love wine, I love to cook and I love all aspects that go with the two. So I figured, why not. What do I have to loose…my wife…nah.
So here it is, a little about me and what I do; I am a licensed funeral director who works on Long Island and live about 15 minutes from the start of Long Island Wine Country. This blog will follow my adventures in this area and any other areas I visit. It will also include some, if not all of my adventures in cooking with my favorite juice.
Before I begin I want to thank my wife, Melissa. I love you so much and thank you for giving me the opportunity to do something that I want to do, and have fun with it. You are definitely a huge inspiration in this blog. I also want to mention and thank Lenn Thompson of LENNDEVOURS/New York Cork Report, I have been following him for the better part of 2 years now, and love is writing. Lenn is a huge part of me starting this blog. And lastly, I want to thank all of my family and friends who have pushed me to get me to this point. Everyone who is in my life is a par of this blog in some kinda way. THANK YOU!
So buckle up and enjoy the ride…it may get bumpy, but I will be your designated driver on this road out to the east end and beyond!
