This is an explanation on how I plan on grading all of the wine that I taste in my house. I will open the bottle and take notes immediately of all color, smell, taste and finish. I will then leave some in my glass and revisit the wine in about 30 minuets (sometimes that may be a bit difficult), but I will again take notes. I will then pour and start the same steps over again about an hour after the first open. I will then have a glass with a dinner that goes well with the wine and again take notes. Lastly, if there is any left after dinner, I will finish it off a few hours later and take my final notes and compare.
I have decided not to give an official rating to the wine I taste. I will just recommend this wine or I will not recommend this wine.
